Principal's Day

Celebrating Victorian Principals Day
Friday 7th August

Last Friday, our school community celebrated Victorian Principals Day, taking the opportunity to recognise and thank our wonderful Principal.

Ms Jacobsen, and Assistant Principal, Miss Grogan, for the incredible leadership they provide each and every day.

Throughout the week, students secretly worked together to create two special displays that were presented at a special assembly on Friday morning.

For Ms Jacobsen, students created a vibrant hot air balloon made from over 100 colourful circles, each featuring supportive messages, student names and words of appreciation. The display was accompanied by the message, "Thank you for helping our school soar."

For Miss Grogan, students designed a beautiful garden of flowers, bees and butterflies, again filled with colourful messages and student names. Their display featured the message, "Because of your leadership, our school continues to grow!"

Following the assembly, both Ms Jacobsen and Miss Grogan were presented with flowers from the staff and enjoyed a special shared lunch in recognition of all they do for our school.

While students and families often see our leaders around the school, there is an enormous amount of work that happens behind the scenes to keep our school running smoothly. From supporting students and staff, to planning, problem-solving and making countless decisions each day, much of their work goes unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, care and commitment to ensuring Kiewa Valley Primary School is a wonderful place to learn and grow.

We are very fortunate to have such passionate, supportive and hardworking leaders in our school community. Thank you, Ms Jacobsen and Miss Grogan, for everything you do!
