Recognising the Elders, organisers, artists, leaders, and communities who have contributed to the movement and highlighting the resilience, survival, and cultural strength of First Nations peoples.
As part of our learning in the lead up to NAIDOC Week students in Grades 3-6 participated in a cirtual excursion with the National Gallery. Through portraits, discussions and creative activities, students explored the achievements, leadership and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and learned abount the importance of community, culture and storytelling.
