We officially celebrated NAIDOC Week on Monday 13th, July with a multi-age activity afternoon. Students rotated through a range of activities, including sharing Indigenous picture story books and playing traditional Indigenous games. These celebrations built on the rich learning experiences our students have enjoyed over recent weeks, including traditional weaving workshops with Aunty Valda and Aunty Glennys, virtual National Portrait Gallery sessions, and Phillip Green's engaging incursion exploring traditional survival techniques and cultural artefacts. We are grateful to the many people and organisations who have helped provide these meaningful opportunities, enabling our students to deepen their understanding, appreciation and respect for First Nations cultures.
